Rice bowls or food bowls seem to be popping up everywhere, with Tim Hortons and Subway being the latest to jump on the rice bowl bandwagon. I had my first rice bowl at a healthy food shop in Cambridge, Ontario. It was a small restaurant that majored in healthy eating, providing a whole host of creative rice bowls. I had a pretty high standard for rice bowls. I decided to go to Subway and give their rice bowls a try. Subway offers four types of rice bowls: Sweet Onion Chicken Teriyaki, Southwest Steak & Avocado, Green Goodness Veggie, and Crispy Chicken Bacon & Peppercorn Ranch. I ordered two rice bowls. The first was Sweet Onion Chicken Teriyaki, and the second was a Crispy Chicken Bacon & Peppercorn Ranch. Overall, the experience was the same as ordering a sub. They heat the sub’s base in the microwave, and then you choose…

The other day, I was looking for a small compressor that I could use for small projects around my house. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HXpRSyxCgvU You know what I mean, a compressor that’s large enough to pump up a tire, drive-in finishing nails, and use for other odd jobs as needed. As I read through the reviews online, I finally decided to purchase the Craftsman Portable Electric Pancake Air Compressor from Lowes Canada. There are several reasons why I decided to go with this particular air compressor over the others available on the market. First of All, this compressor is portable and easy to carry from place to place. It only weighs 30 pounds, which makes moving it around a breeze. One of the reasons I wanted a pancake compressor was so that I could move it around easily, and it doesn’t take up a lot of space. It also gives me 150 Max…

If you’re planning a trip to Canada’s Wonderland during COVID19 this summer, this article will give you everything you’ll need to know to get the best out of your day. I recently took the plunge and took my family of 5 to Canada’s largest amusement part. Canada’s Wonderland has been closed for the last 2 years due to the COVID19 pandemic. Our kids were so excited to finally get the opportunity to go, and we were excited to get back to a little normal again. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pRQWlSIyXmU We purchased 5 regular passes for Wonderland as well as 2 drink passes and 2 all-day food passes. We knew that the kids would be too excited to eat a lot, so the 2 drinks and food passes seemed to be a good idea. The total price for Wonderland for our family was about $400 for the day, which is quite a lot of…

I’m a big fan of Apple Products! It’s what they say all of the time – Apple products just work! They don’t just work well, they also work well together and that makes them better than any device on the market. I have this weird dream of going to the nearest Apple store and purchasing every product that Apple currently sells. How much money would I need in this dream? Well, that is what we’re going to figure out. In this article, I’m going to break down the devices that I would purchase from Apple, how much money it would cost me, and what I’m going to get in the end. All of the prices are in Canadian dollars, because, well, my dream happens in Canada. Here we go! Blue 24‑inch iMac with Apple M1 chip I went with 16GB of ram and the larger 2 TBs of SSD storage.…

We’re all about making our life easier! Isn’t that why we invest so much money on tech and gear that’s labeled “smart?” We want emails written for us and vacuums to have a mind of their own. We want things to be more streamlined and automatic. This is also true when it comes to the tools and gear in our kitchen. A couple of days ago, I was going through the gadgets in my kitchen and determining which ones I couldn’t live without. I’m talking about the items that make my day-to-day life easier, and, in my humble opinion, should be purchased by every Canadian as soon as possible. These are not ground-breaking technologies, just simple devices that make me more efficient. I’m going to list them below in no particular order. I’ll also add some Amazon links so that you can check out the price and do some solo…
